Pljukanci

Fertile soil, good climate, and historical influences of Napoleon’s France, Austro-Hungary, and Italy marked Istrian cuisine. The folk cuisine that has been preserved to this day is a symbol of the gastronomic culture of Istria. In addition to many specialties, an important place is occupied by traditional Istrian pasta such as Fuži, Šurlice, and Pljukanci. Aurelia Ethno pasta goes perfectly with traditional beef or venison sauces.
