Makaruni

Korcula Makaruni ar made only for special occasions, and are mostly associated with the town of Žrnovo, from where they spread throughout the island. Although the common people could afford them several times a year, the nobles of the Republic of Dubrovnik and the communes of Korčula more often enjoyed this specialty. Now you too have the opportunity to enjoy Makaruni and prepare them with traditional beef stew which you will, of course, enrich with red wine.
